Safe Hands is a local NDIS support provider based in Newcastle NSW, servicing Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, and the Hunter Region. We don't have a public office address. We come to you.
Safe Hands is currently a non-registered NDIS provider, which means we work with self-managed and plan-managed participants. We are in the process of becoming registered for agency-managed participants.
From first call to first shift is typically two weeks. We respond to enquiries within 1 business day, meet you within 5 days, and start regular shifts within two weeks. There are no waitlists.
We provide daily living support, community participation, transport assistance, personal care, social and recreational support, and capacity building. All delivered one-on-one by local Newcastle support workers.
We charge at the NDIS Price Guide rates. There are no out-of-pocket costs for participants with funded supports. Weekday daytime is around $70 per hour. Evenings and weekends are higher per the NDIS schedule.
